Keith Meyer

Keith sells all lines of insurance and is a co-owner of Billmark’s Lakes Area Insurance. Keith was born and raised in Madison, MN. He graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Insurance. Keith began his career with Billmark’s in 2003 and enjoys learning something new each day. When Keith is not working, he enjoys spending time with his fantastic wife Shawna and their children. Outside of spending time with family, Keith also enjoys to golf, hunt, travel and ride his atv.
Marty Trierweiler
Agent/COO
Marty is a commercial sales agent and co-owner of Billmark’s Lakes Area Insurance, Inc. Marty grew up in Sauk Centre. After high school, he achieved his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Minnesota in Duluth. Marty was licensed in insurance in 2002; and he worked as a personal lines and commercial agent for 8 years in Sauk Centre before going to work for Cincinnati Insurance as a Field Claims Representative. After spending two years with Cincinnati working with clients and claims around the country, he joined Billmark’s in 2010.
Marty is married to his junior high sweetheart, Leah. They have two boys. Marty enjoys spending his free time hunting and fishing, as well as playing sports.
Gordie Billmark
President/Agent
Gordie has been a part of the Alexandria Community both in financial services and insurance for the past 41 years. Gordie started Billmark’s Lakes Area Insurance Inc. from scratch in
1989. Gordie is proud to work with the Agents and support staff that make up the Billmark’s Lakes Area Team, with offices in Alexandria, Brandon, and Sauk Centre. Gordie’s pride and joy has always been watching his two daughters grow and prosper in their professional careers. Gordie is an active member of the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Garfield, as well as the Alexandria Evening Lions.
Pat Biggar
Agent
Pat is a “native” Alexandrian, even though she spent 25 years working in the Twin Cities Metro area. Her field of expertise has always been accounting. Pat received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, and has worked for a variety of companies from manufacturing, to life insurance, to non-profit.
Pat moved back to Alexandria in 1998, married the love of her life in 2001 and entered the insurance field in 2002, when she earned her license. Managing the accounting tasks at Billmark’s is a fulltime job. When she is not here at Billmark’s, she enjoys playing in the dirt (in her massive flower gardens), making art, and spending time with her family
Clarke Comer
Claims Specialist
Clarke joins the Billmark’s team after moving to Alexandria in 2015. Prior to Billmark’s, Clarke had the opportunity to work with the local Alexandria baseball team as well as with Habitat for Humanity in Wisconsin. In school, he studied Sport Management, Government and Communications. Originally from California, Clarke enjoys spending his free time with his wife, an Alexandria native, and doing as many outdoor activities as possible.
Monica Rodahl
Office Manager/Commercial Account Manager
Monica grew up in Melrose, MN and graduated from Melrose Area High School. She attended St. Cloud State University and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Monica started with Billmark’s in August of 2014. She previously worked in claims and personal lines. Since July 2016 Monica has been working in the commercial lines department.
In her spare time Monica enjoys going on runs with her dog & being outdoors. A few times a week you can find her playing volleyball. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Amy Schneider
Personal Lines Agent
Amy has called Alexandria her home since 2005 and has been with Billmark’s Lakes Area Insurance Inc since July 2013. She and her husband Jeremy have three children. When she’s not working she enjoys quilting, scrapbooking, spending time with her family and being an active member at New Life Christian Church.
Karen Springer
Personal Lines Agent
Karen grew up on a farm near Dalton, MN and attended public school in Fergus Falls. She continued her education at Moorhead State University where she received her B.S. in Psychology. Karen began working in the insurance industry when she moved to Alexandria in 1998. She started working at Billmark’s in 2005 in the Personal Lines Department.
Karen is married and has two step daughters. She and her husband, Brian, enjoy traveling – both for pleasure and going on missions trips. For leisure, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, fitness, being outdoors, and cooking/baking.
Elaine Thoennes
Customer Service Representative
Elaine has lived in Douglas County a majority of her life. She worked at Fingerhut Manufacturing for 31 years as a Mailing Operator. The plant closure sent Elaine into another line of work; from standing and running all day, to sitting behind a desk giving customer service to all our clients. When Elaine is not at Billmark’s, she is working for her husband’s business, Thoennes Transmissions, or at Viking Speedway, managing the weekly racing events. She is also the “on call girl” at Peaceful Bliss Assisted Living. She truly enjoys helping and caring for some of the most wonderful people she has ever met. Elaine is married with two adult children, who have given her four beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys mowing the lawn and just being around people. Elaine is a person who can’t sit still, she says she is a “getter-done right now” kind of person.
Tami Roering

Tami moved to the lakes area in 2014 and joined Billmark’s Lakes Area Insurance in December of 2015.
Tami started her insurance journey in 2011, after being away from insurance for a couple years, deciding to return.
Tami and her husband Shannon have 2 daughters. In her spare time Tami enjoys gardening and spending time with friends and family.
Lisa Korbel
Agent
Lisa is originally from New Prague, MN where she worked as a mortgage lender for the past 14 years. She and her husband, Arnie, made Alexandria their second home about 13 years ago. They loved the lake living so much, they decided to make it permanent. In June, 2017 they moved everything to Alexandria, including their insurance, which is where they met Keith and Billmark’s Insurance. They have two beautiful daughters and two handsome grandsons, ages 3 & 4. Their youngest daughter is getting married in August. When not working Lisa likes to out-fish her husband and loves spending time with her grandsons.
April Winters
Commercial Account Manager
April was born and raised in Sauk Centre, MN. After working in healthcare for many years April began her insurance career with Billmark’s in July of 2016. In January of 2017 she began working in Commercial Lines and enjoys all of the exciting challenges commercial insurance has to offer.
April currently lives in Sauk Centre with her husband, Mark, and son, Michael. In her free time, April enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on different home improvement and woodworking projects with Mark and Michael.
Doug Walters

Born in Comfrey, MN, Doug’s parents moved to a farm near Osakis when he was 6 months old. When he was 11, his parents then moved to Darfur. Doug graduated from Comfrey High School in 1974. Doug moved back to Alexandria in the fall of 1974 and has been here ever since! Doug worked for Frontier Enterprises in 1975 and continued there until 1979, when he started working for 3M. Doug left 3M in 1997 and started with Billmark’s Insurance. When Doug is not working, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and hunting, plus all the Alexandria Lakes Area has to offer.
Dustin Walters

Dustin was born and raised in Alexandria, graduating from Jefferson High School. Dustin received his insurance license in 2011 and while he may have a new license, he certainly is not new to insurance, growing up with family in the industry. Dustin is excited to be a part of the Billmark’s Team. When Dustin is not working, he enjoys being outdoors, hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with friends and family.
Hannah Wander

Hannah grew up in Sauk Centre, MN. She attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science. After working in funeral service for a few years, Hannah began a new career in insurance with Billmark’s in 2018. She is excited to serve clients and continue to learn about all the aspects of commercial insurance.
Hannah resides in Osakis with her husband, Darren and their dog, Jade. She likes to spend her free time with family and friends. She also enjoys kayaking, ice fishing, dark house spearing, and watching football and baseball.
Tami Gulbranson

Tami is a licensed agent servicing the commercial and personal insurance needs of the company’s present and future customers. Tami has been a Douglas County resident since 2003. Tami and her husband and their 2 children presently reside north of Brandon. Tami has a number of interests, some of which include baking with her daughter, making lefse, watching their kids play Alexandria Cardinal sports, but most of all spending time with her family and their Golden Retrievers on the lake.
Lorne Sievers

Originally farm raised in Brooten Mn, Lorne lived in St Cloud for 25 years, in Jan of 2011 he moved to Alexandria, starting his Insurance Career in March of 2015 with Supplemental Insurance, joining the Billmarks Team in 2019. Being a dad of 2 adult children, Grandchildren have arrived. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Laurie, in the woodshop, or hunting.
Kathy Ranweiler

Kathy grew upon on a farm in the Urbank area. After graduating from Parkers Prairie High School, Kathy moved to Minneapolis where she worked for Chubb Insurance, based in downtown Minneapolis. After moving back to the area, Kathy worked for Citizens State Bank in the insurance department. In January of 1991 Kathy became co-owner of Lakes Area Insurance of Brandon.
Kathy and her husband Mike have 4 children. When Kathy is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, fishing, reading and spending time at the lake. Kathy also enjoys road trips to different areas of our beautiful state.
Darcy Jennissen Pfeffer

Darcy was born and raised on a dairy farm in Sauk Centre, MN. She graduated from Sauk Centre High School and received her Associates degree in Executive Business Management at the St. Cloud Business College. Darcy brings 19 years of experience in the insurance field to Billmark’s with a background in both personal and commercial lines.
When Darcy is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Phil, her daughter and grandson, camping, 4-wheeling, hiking, and gardening.
Claire Rieland
Agent
Claire was born and raised in Sauk Centre, MN. She attended Sauk Centre High School, and afterwards achieved a degree in Sales and Management at St. Cloud Technical and Community College. She worked in St. Cloud in sales for 6 years, and was offered a job with a local insurance agency in the summer of 2007. Excited about an opportunity to move back to the community she loves, she obtained her insurance license and began working there right away. In 2009, she obtained the CISR designation as well, to further her insurance knowledge. She is grateful to be in a town she loves, doing what she loves.
